The route ranges from Rift Valley scenery, rhino habitat and abundant birdlife in Lake Nakuru, open savannahs, big-cat country and classic East African wildlife viewing in Masai Mara, and vast plains, dramatic wildlife concentrations and one of Africa's most celebrated safari landscapes in Serengeti National Park before continuing through additional contrasting landscapes.
