Western Kenya & Serengeti Discovery is a 11-day / 10-night cross-border road safari travelling from Nairobi through Kakamega Forest, Kisumu, Lake Victoria, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Amboseli before concluding in Nairobi. The route ranges from Kenya's remaining equatorial rainforest, birdlife and primate habitat in Kakamega Forest, lakeside scenery, island communities and the cultural landscapes of western East Africa in Kisumu, and lakeside scenery, island communities and the cultural landscapes of western East Africa in Lake Victoria before continuing through additional contrasting landscapes. The cross-border routing is coordinated to connect the neighbouring ecosystems while allowing time for game drives on both sides of the frontier.
